Windstream is honored to be recognized again on a Vertical Systems Group’s Carrier Ethernet LEADERBOARD, in its recently released Mid-Year 2016 report. This report is the industry’s foremost benchmark for measuring Ethernet Service Provider market presence. The firm calculates port shares using the base of enterprise installations of Ethernet services, plus input from surveys of Ethernet providers. The LEADERBOARD threshold is four percent or more of billable port installations.
Holding steady on the list, the ranking reflects Windstream’s strong growth in the U.S. Ethernet market and our commitment to investing in our local and national fiber networks, our technologies and our team in order to provide an exceptional customer experience. A considerable amount of our investment capital has been directly focused on improving quality and increasing availability of our Ethernet services, and this recent Vertical Systems Group recognition – in conjunction with that of this year’s earlier report – confirms that our strategy is succeeding.
As we continue to advance our MEF. 2.0 Certified Carrier Ethernet solution – included adding E-NNIs in prime locations such as Pittsburgh, PA (1500 Alleghany Center Mall ), New York, NY (60 Hudson), Philadelphia, PA (401 N. We are confident that we’ll continue to appear on the Vertical Systems Group’s LEADERBOAD report – and we’ll keep you updated along the way!
